Qinglong temple has a history of more than 400 years. In 1926, Qinglong Temple experienced a hundred years of water disaster, almost regret. During the land revolution from 1932 to 1934, under the influence of the "left" dogmatism line, the loss of the base areas in the west of Hunan and Hubei was very heavy. A large number of revolutionary martyrs were killed in qinglongkeng by mistake. Later, in order to commemorate these revolutionary martyrs, and to pacify the souls of the martyrs, the common people rebuilt qinglongchan Temple beside qinglongkeng, and built a monument to the martyrs.
