Qinglong temple has a history of more than 400 years. In 1926, Qinglong temple was almost destroyed after a hundred years of flood. During the land revolution from 1932 to 1934, under the influence of the "left" dogmatism line, the loss of the base areas in the west of Hunan and Hubei was very heavy. A large number of revolutionary martyrs were killed in qinglongkeng by mistake. Later, in order to commemorate these revolutionary martyrs, and to pacify the souls of the martyrs, the common people rebuilt qinglongchan Temple beside qinglongkeng, and built a monument to the martyrs.

Qinglong temple is located on the northwest Bank of bailihong lake. The slope is high and winding. Under the slope, Bihe meets the sky. The palace is built with green bricks and black bricks. In the vastness of the smoke, the temple stands like a green dragon rising its head. When the turbid waves are emptied, the slope Temple looks like a green dragon. It was founded in the age of ancient Asoka in the 6th century BC.
